First We Eat
How hard would it be for you not to get any food from the grocery store for a whole year? Filmmaker Suzanne Crocker decides to take on this experiment with her family and eat only locally sourced food – just 300 km from the Arctic Circle. What begins as a challenge soon becomes an opportunity to discover and celebrate the farming community in the Yukon, and to reflect on the barriers that stand in the way of a more sustainable lifestyle.
