Above the Line
Responsible for leading the creative process of the film or television production.
“Above the line” is a film industry term used to refer to the people who are creatively in charge of a film or show. These are some of the roles everyone’s heard of, such as the director, producer(s), writer(s) and star(s). They are responsible for everything from how the production is financed, scheduled and executed, to how the overall story is told, to making sure the film ultimately finds an audience.
