Casting Department
Responsible for finding and engaging all the on-camera talent that is required by the production.
The Casting Director and their team makes sure the Director and Producer are presented with all the best choices for each role in the production. They set up, conduct and record auditions for all the specific characters in the script. To that end, they make it their business to be familiar with the work of hundreds of actors, both known and unknown. They also negotiate most actors’ contracts and manage the booking of background performers (“extras”).
