Reel Opportunities
Locations Department
Responsible for researching and finding all of the locations required for a film or TV production.
The Locations Manager and their team makes sure the Director and Producer are presented with all the best choices for each location required by the script (except those that are being shot on studio sets). Once locations are selected, they negotiate contracts with those who will be affected by the presence of the production, and manage any site that the production comes in contact with. This could include a house that is being used as a set, and also an entire street on which production vehicles are being parked.
