Responsible for ensuring the public hears about a film, and that it finds an audience.
Marketing and Distribution professionals get involved after a film has been completed They get the program onto screens, whether that be in cinemas, on TVs, or computers. They also make sure the public hears about a film that is about to be released, by managing the marketing or advertising campaigns, arranging media appearances by the stars and “pitching” different points of interest to various news outlets. These roles might be in publicity, film sales or distribution.
