Wardrobe Department
Responsible for designing and acquiring all clothing and accessories for a production.
Under the leadership of the Costume (or Wardrobe) Supervisor, this department is responsible for all the clothing that is worn by all performers on a film. This includes designing original costumes, acquiring clothing that suits the tone and overall vision for the production, and/or ensuring that costumes are historically or culturally accurate. On set, they are in charge of organizing costumes for all the shots, dressing the performers, keeping track of costume-related continuity, and all cleaning and maintenance.
