National Canadian Film Day (CanFilmDay) is for everyone, and it’s a great opportunity for schools to take part in a massive one-day celebration of Canadian film.

In addition to our usual lesson plans and programming advice, you’ll also get access to exclusive CanFilmDay bonuses such as activity packs, pre-show video content, and our “party kit” to help make it special.

If you’re teaching at an English-language high school, our largest offering on CanFilmDay is our annual RCtv livestream that takes place on the date. Check out our Livestreams page for more info or to register.

Lending Library

You can access our Lending Library for JK to Grade 12, English or French, all year round. But doing so on CanFilmDay is a great way to ensure your screening will be extra special. Your students will be watching alongside millions of Canadians nationwide!
